Final scan

I had my post ablation scan today. I am really hopeful that it is my final scan for a long, long time. I will get results on Monday when I visit with my Oncologist. I could use some positive news right about now (our microwave died and I failed my emissions test=$1000). We were hoping to take a Disney vacation this summer. Doubtful now.

Treatment prep day😳. Some of my criteria:
ISOLATION - Definition: me time.

Launder all clothes, sheets, etc daily
Flush twice and sit down
Rinse shower and shower everyday
No visitors.
No kids.
No physical activity, no problem.
Suck hard candy.

Low-iodine Diet

The diet that I will be following for the next four weeks has some specific guidelines.  Here is the gist of the do's and don'ts.

Not allowed:
Iodized salt and/or sea salt
Seafood or sea products
Dairy of any kind
Bakery products with iodine
Red dye #3
Most chocolate
Soy products

Fruits and vegetables
Unsealed nuts and nut butters
Egg whits
Fresh meats - up to 6 oz per day
Grain and cereal products low in iodine
Sugar, jellies, syrup
Herbs and spices
